As Derry’s enter their 40th year in trading, the company have gone further than ever before in sourcing the best new products of the highest quality.
Lauren, Interior Designer and part of the team at Derry’s said; “In August, exhibited at the IFHS in Dublin, as we have done every year. The show is so full of life and exciting brands that we love coming back year after year again! It gives us the chance to go above and beyond with the products and design of our stand, we spend weeks coming up with exciting room settings and mood boards which led to us winning the ‘Best overall product display and exhibition stand’ this year. We are absolutely thrilled with this awared and it has inspired us to go above and beyond next year to celebrate Derry’s big birthday!”
Managing Director, Gairoid went out to China on a buying trip this month with the goal of finding exciting new collections as well as expanding on their high-quality upholstery ranges, Gairoid added; “we cannot wait to show you the new collections”
In September, Derry’s held their ‘In house show.’ They host this event twice a year to give customers the opportunity to view their collections, meet the sales team and view recently renovated showrooms. Derry’s Ltd reported the 4 days ran smoothly and were definitely worth the blood, sweat and tears that they put into their showroom in the lead up to the show.
If you missed the event, don’t panic! Derry’s will be having their annual Spring showcase again in April 2019 where customers are welcome to come to their showrooms.
“We find these events to be a roaring success and a great way of getting to catch-up with our customers. Over the course of 4 days we had approx. 50 of our customers, both old and new. We will be running our Spring in house show the first Sunday of April and that gives us the perfect chance to showcase exciting new products and meet all our connections, it is also a great socialising event where many of our customers can network with other stores and learn from each other.”
